Functie omschrijving

The suitable candidate will have a strong background in Technical/Chemical or Mechanical Engineering sales within a related industry. He/She will have a formal qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Process or Chemical) or Science discipline and will have technical sales experience within Germany / EMEA.

  • Management and development of direct customers to achieve sales against plan for Germany
  • Responsible for maximising sales and delivering the agreed target for the region in line with Company agreed strategy
  • Identification and execution of business development opportunities
  • The planning, management and direction of all activities and support services to achieve sales targets including the provision of adequate training and product awareness for customers
  • Provision of monthly reports to Direct Sales Manager detailing performance v key criteria
  • Also provision of accurate forecasts on a month end basis
  • Interact with customers to close sales, answers questions and build confidence in the products and the Company, through ongoing field sales visits and regular motivational sales meetings and reviews
  • Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to sales program while following worldwide policies.

Functie eisen

  • A third level degree Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) or Science Discipline
  • 3+ year’s sales experience within a related industry
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and periodically within Europe/USA
  • Self starting, proactive and ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to target, measure and monitor sales targets and performance whilst considering cost and effort
  • Commercial negotiation skills
  • Customer focused
  • Good spoken and written English and German

Desirable

Experience within the rupture disk manufacturing or pressure relief devices industry.
