These facilities, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA; Limerick, Ireland; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Chennai, India; Edmonton, Canada; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Houston, Texas; Beijing, China; and Monterrey, Mexico, when combined with additional sales and marketing hubs in the UK, Germany, Singapore and Tokyo provide quality customer service on a local scale.

The Company´s EMEA headquarters is based in Limerick. The number of employees controlled from the Limerick base is over 100, including technical, manufacturing, finance, IT and sales.

EMEA is responsible for sales throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Much of the sales are managed through distributors, however in the UK, Ireland and Germany the company employs its own sales force selling direct to the end user.

Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting Representatives with product, application and sales expertise 
  • Direct sales calls to support existing and new business opportunities 
  • Identification of detailed customer requirements 
  • Liaison with Engineering and R&D departments to support customer orders and inquiries 
  • Planning and scheduling sales trip with Representative organisation to achieve above goals 
  • Forecasting sales figures for area(s) of responsibility 
  • Preparing and giving presentations to customer groups and internal company personnel 
  • Development & implementation of competitive strategies

Qualifications:

The purpose of this role is to manage the sales effort in the original equipment  manufacturer (OEM) and high volume application markets for our client and its affiliates.  The position entails responsibility for growth of our client´s product sales through a network of manufacturers´ representatives as well as through direct sales account development in the EMEA region.

Essential Requirements: 

  • A third level degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) 
  • 5+ years technical sales experience preferably within the rupture disk manufacturing or pressure relief devices industry 
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong organisational ability and detail oriented 
  • Self starting, proactive and able to achieve objectives with minimal supervision 
  • Fluent English (fluency in other European languages would be an advantage) 
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
